A seven-year-old superhero from Glastonbury is facing his fears to help raise money for The National Autistic Society.

Hendrix Robinson lives with autism, a condition which affects how he communicates and interacts with the world. His particular profile includes a demand avoidance profile, anxiety and a sensory processing disorder.

He's going to climb the Tor over the Easter Holidays - a feat which left him shaking in fear three years ago.

But now he's decided to be 'brave like Batman' and climb it to raise money for charity, bringing his four-year-old sister, Sky, along with him.

He's already raised £310 in sponsorship and would like to raise more.

"Hendrix managed to get up the Tor about 3 years ago but went into panic mode and has been petrified of it ever since," said his mum, Sarah.

"As a family we would love to raise money to help support The National Autistic Society," she added. "It also helps Hendrix and Sky to truly understand the act of giving to others, whilst I also hope it encourages Hendrix to embrace and love his Autism diagnosis. - we are trying hard to help him accept and embrace his Autism and see it as a positive, like a superpower."

She said that Sky is also looking forward to supporting her brother in the climb, and is excited that she will finally be able to climb the Tor - something she's yet to do.

You can sponsor Hendrix on his Just Giving page.
