Glastonbury Town Council's recently appointed Mayor, Cllr Denise Michell, will lead the annual Mayor's Sunday parade on Sunday 2nd June.

This year, the parade makes a slight variation on previous years as the ceremony will take place in St Benedict's Church as St John's is undergoing a major refurbishment.

The parade will leave the Town Hall at 11.15am and process to St Benedict's Church along Magdalene Street and down Benedict Street to gather for an 11.30am service.

The return journey is to recommence at approximately 12.30pm and arrive at the Town Hall where invited guests will be received by the Mayor before taking lunch.

Road closures will be in place and inconvenience it is hoped will be for just a couple of hours at most.
