Low water pressure in Glastonbury after main bursts

By Tim Lethaby   16th Jul 2021

Some people in Glastonbury may be experiencing low water pressure while Bristol Water carry out repairs to a water main that burst this morning (August 29).

A spokesperson from Bristol Water said: "We are working as quickly as possible and while it is too early to give a precise timeline, we hope to have it fixed later today.

"As the burst is in a field, there is no traffic impact and all customers are still in supply. Regular updates are being made to our website and affected customers have received a text message from us.

"We apologise for the inconvenience caused and encourage any customers with medical needs or disabilities to sign up to our Priority Services Register so that we can better support you in the event of a burst."
