Local dad Martin Thomas has started his long walk from Glastonbury to Glasgow in aid of Asthma UK in memory of his daughter Amy, who passed away from an asthma attack in October 2017.

He will attempt to do this within three weeks, walking on average 20 miles per day of the 387-mile route. He started in Glastonbury and will finish at Finnieston Crane in Glasgow.

Martin is currently at Hereford where he says ankles, knees and shins are starting to hurt but he is still ploughing on.

If you wish to keep track on how Martin is doing or to donate to the charity you can click here.
