What to expect:
- To provide a visible uniformed deterrent, to contribute to the safety and security of the client's premises and staff
- To carry out company policy on loss prevention and ensure the safety of staff and visitors
- To lawfully deter potential troublemakers on site
- To observe and report incidents using the correct reporting systems
- To carry out all duties assigned by the client or manager to whom you are responsible
- To ensure site knowledge is kept up to date and developments at local level are identified
- To understand and implement any fire and safety evacuation procedures
- To assist, if required by the client, with staff and contractor searches
- To ensure that the security base is always maintained in a clean and tidy condition

Care Manager - Glastonbury
We are seeking a Support Care Manager for a leading organisation that provides support to young adults with autism. You will manage two supported living locations. You'll be creating and supporting a new team in the transition of this journey, so previous experience of managing similar locations is essential, and proven experience of setting up new homes is an advantage. Both homes will be ensuring person centred, pro-active and high quality support and specific personal goals identified, to maintain, develop and promote new and existing skills and community inclusion. You'll work closely with families, advocates, social workers and health professionals to build a strong network around the people you will be supporting, and continually reviewing and monitoring the success of this. Your ability to build strong, trustworthy relationships with all people involved will mean that you can work creatively and flexibly to ensure the needs of the individuals are fully met, as well as supporting, managing and role modelling a team of support staff. Year 6 Teacher - Glastonbury
Hays are working alongside a well-known primary school in Glastonbury, which has recently received an Ofsted 'good' rating. The school is one-form entry, with around 30 pupils per class. The senior management team (SMT) have achieved commendations for their continuous improvement and hope to obtain outstanding status by 2022. This school has free on-site parking and easy access to public transport. Your new role: You will be teaching children full-time in a Year 6 class on a fixed term contract. You will be given opportunities to develop your skills and provide feedback and ideas with the rest of the team. What you'll need to succeed:- Have teaching experience within the last five years.
- Hold a UK Qualified Teacher Status.
- Good knowledge of the English National Curriculum.
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2.
