Hunt for missing teen Jonathan, 16, last seen in Somerset town

By Laura Linham 8th Apr 2025

Police renew appeal to find boy with links to Street, Glastonbury and Shepton Mallet

Police are desperately searching for a teenage boy who vanished more than two weeks ago.

Jonathan, 16, was last seen in Frome, Somerset, at around 5.50pm on Sunday, 23 March. He was wearing a blue hoodie and a black coat at the time of his disappearance.

This isn't the first time the teenager has gone missing. He previously disappeared after being last seen in Butleigh on 11 March 2024, but was found safe following an earlier police appeal.

Now, officers are renewing calls for help as concerns grow for the teen's welfare.

A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: "Do you know where Jonathan is? He was last seen in Frome on Sunday, March 23. He's male, white, about 5'10" and has short dark hair.

"He has links to other parts of Somerset, including Street, Glastonbury, Wells and Shepton Mallet."

Anyone who sees Jonathan or knows where he might be is urged to call 999 quoting reference number 5225085391.
