About 300 Ultimate Frisbee players recently convened on Tor Leisure Centre for the 21st annual Glastonbury Tor-Nament.

The tournament comes at the end of the Ultimate season and is played with a fun and relaxed attitude.

It also incorporates the UK Masters Nationals Championship which is the country's leading competition for the over-30s division.

This year's tournament benefited from fine weather on both days. Twenty-four teams from both the South West and further afield competed for the coveted Tor Ornament prize.

The on pitch play was supplemented by various other fun and games including the first annual Sock Wrestling tournament and a photo contest for the best photo of Glastonbury Tor.

The Masters teams set a great example by partying hard at the clubhouse on the Saturday night. Games from both days were filmed and livestreamed by a media team.

The final was contested by previous winners Shakedown and Bristol Uni graduate team Mythagone.

In an entertaining and tightly contested match which went back and forth between the two teams, Mythagone produced a strong finish to win the game 15-11 and take then 2019 title.
