House Fire at Glastonbury

Date: 24.09.2019Time: 16:10Location: GlastonburyFire Control received a call reporting a house fire at a property in Glastonbury. 3 fire engines were immediately mobilised from Street, Glastonbury and Wells. On arrival crews requested an additional 2 pumps from Shepton Mallet.

Crews used 4 Breathing Apparatus one hose reel jet one safety jet and 2 covering jets. The fire was located on the ground floor of the domestic house with heavy smoke logging throughout. A positive pressure ventilation fan was used to rid the property of smoke.

Crews currently still on scene. The incident will be scaled down shortly.
