Half-Term fun guaranteed at the Royal Bath & West Show

With the beginning of Half-Term, parents across the South-West are thinking about ways to entertain their children which can't be ruined by the weather!
The Royal Bath & West Show (29th-31st May) has plenty of child-friendly activities over the three days, including the science-oriented 'Discover the Future' inside the Showering Building, and Lakeside Farm housing all things agricultural including Poultry and Small Animals.
The Main Ring will provide plenty for all the family to watch including the Pony Club Games, Show Jumping, Vintage Vehicle Parade, Scurry and Heavy Horses; whilst this years' main attraction is the ever-popular Paul Hannam Quad Bike Stunt Show – loved by thrill seekers of any age.
If your children are budding foodies then they should head to The Great British Kitchen, which welcomes back cocktail maker Andy Clarke. He will be joined by Comedian and Chef George Egg, James Strawbridge, and Big Nath's BBQ.
Four-legged friends are not forgotten, with the Bark & West returning after its highly successful debut in 2024. Pawsability and the Have a Go ring return, alongside Great British Dogs - plenty to get those tails wagging!
Musical youngsters can visit the Pilton Tent where they can enjoy performances from The Old Time Sailors, The Rivertones and Funky Monkey Bubble Club; whilst Somerset Morris, the Jelly Roll Jazz Band and Chloe Marie Aston (The Piano Bike Girl) will be providing entertainment on the Main Lawn and roaming around the Showground.
