Artist Brian Froud will launch his new book in Glastonbury this month as the town's Faerie Weekend returns to the Town Hall.

The event takes place on Saturday, 17 October, and Sunday, 18 October, with Brian and Wendy Froud attending on the Saturday only. Copies of Brian Froud's Green Women will be available for signing.

A launch talk runs from noon to 1.30pm on Saturday, featuring Brian and Wendy alongside writer Terri Windling and a guest author. Tickets cost £15.

Windling will also give a separate talk and answer questions about storytelling from 2.30pm to 3.30pm, priced at £10. A free talk and meditation with artist Katrina Koltes and organiser Karen Kay follows at 3.35pm.

Other artists attending the weekend include Iris Compiet, Anne Sudworth and Armorel Hamilton.

The accompanying Faerie Ball takes its Green Women theme from Froud's book, with Green Men costumes also welcome. Irish band Bog Bodies will provide music, with Brian and Wendy attending as guests of honour.

Further details and booking links are available through Karen Kay's Faery Events.
