Glastonbury St Mary result in the Mendip District Council elections 2019

The Green Party have taken the Glastonbury St Mary's ward from the Conservatives in the Mendip District Council elections 2019.

With a turnout of 50.2 per cent, Lindsay Macdougall took the seat for the Greens with 217 votes, ahead of David Albert Swain with 197 votes for the Tories.

Independent Robert Paul Lund received 190 votes, with Liberal Democrat Laiqa Browne getting 186 and Labour's Kama Hannah McKenzie polling 47.
