With the arrival of summer and longer daylight hours, Glastonbury is calling on residents to come up with ideas to engage young people and create positive activities for them.

The local neighbourhood police team is stepping up efforts to provide constructive and enjoyable activities for young people in the area. They are working closely with youth services to find engaging opportunities for the town's younger residents.

Additionally, the Glastonbury Town Council's youth council is actively seeking funding for events and initiatives to offer positive outlets for local youths.

A spokesperson for the neighbourhood team said, "We are committed to ensuring our young people have constructive activities to engage in, especially during the summer months. It's essential to create a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone in the community."

Residents with ideas or those wanting to assist in these efforts are encouraged to contact the local neighbourhood team online or via 101.
