A Glastonbury rock band is bringing its unique sound to the holiday season with the release of a new Christmas anthem, Jingle My Bells.

Alien Shamans, a high-energy concept rock band, has taken inspiration from Slade's 1973 classic Merry Xmas Everybody to create a track blending playful vibes with a powerful message of peace, love, and joy.

Formed in 2022, the band is known for its distinctive mix of catchy lyrics, powerful vocals, and signature guitar solos.

Drawing inspiration from rock legends like Led Zeppelin, Cream, and The Rolling Stones, Alien Shamans add their own extraterrestrial twist to the genre. The group is fronted by singer and songwriter Lui Krieg, alongside guitarist Dave "Fast Hand" Butlers, bassist Nick Walkling, and drummer Ryan Stevens. Music composer, director, and producer Paul Foss is considered the band's "fifth member."

The band made their debut earlier this year with their single Edge of Time, released on October 10. Featuring an AI-generated video with Cosmic Shaman "Zorwand the RiftShifter," the track quickly gained traction, amassing nearly 200,000 streams within a month. The video showcases Zorwand on a mission to Earth, combining sacred sound and rock 'n' roll to deliver a message of awakening and potential.

Now, with Jingle My Bells, Alien Shamans aim to make their mark on holiday playlists everywhere. The track, described as perfect for family gatherings, seasonal films, and festive social media content, is available on all major streaming platforms, with an official music video live on YouTube. The band has even made the song available as a downloadable ringtone, hoping it will become a must-have track for the season.

"We wanted to offer something refreshing yet familiar, bringing the spirit of Christmas to parties and celebrations," they said.
