Glastonbury roadworks for week commencing October 21

There will be traffic control on the B3151 out of Glastonbury this week, where the road crosses the River Brue.

Stop and go board traffic control will be in place on Tuesday October 22 on the Meare Road to enable a repair to a bridge parapet.

Other roadworks taking place in Glastonbury this week include:

Traffic control using stop and go boards will be in place on Tuesday and Wednesday October 23 on the A361 at Bere Lane for Wales and West Utilities work.

From Monday October 21 to Wednesday, Bristol Water will be doing work to locate a buried stop tap in Monington Road.

From Thursday October 24 to October 28, BT will be carrying out drilling and poly duct work in Hamlyn Road.

The patching work by Somerset County Council in Cinnamon Lane is scheduled to be completed by Tuesday.

Finally, the permit for scaffolding outside of Star Child in the High Street runs out on Friday October 25.
