There will be temporary traffic lights on the B3151 Meare Road in Glastonbury on Monday (October 14).

These two-way lights will be in place as Western Power Distribution will need to have vehicles in the road for works opposite number 1 Meare Road.

Other roadworks taking place this week in Glastonbury include:

There will be stop and go board traffic control on the A361 at Bere Lane on Wednesday and Thursday October 16 and 17 for Wales and West Utilities work.

In Glastonbury High Street, scaffolding is scheduled to go up at Dilliway and Dilliway on Friday October 18, and it has a permit to remain up for a month.

On Monday, there will be give and take traffic control in Cinnamon Lane for the installation of a duct under the carriageway, while patching work in the lane should continue throughout the week.

From Tuesday October 15 to Thursday, Wales and West Utilities are laying a new service in Hamlyn Road.

From Monday to Wednesday, the streetlights are going to be replaced in Wirral Park Road, outside of B&Q.

Finally, Bristol Water's work to repair a leak in Dunstan Road is scheduled to finish on Tuesday.
