There will be temporary traffic lights on the A361 in Edgarley, just outside of Glastonbury, this week.

The lights will be in place on Thursday January 23 on the A361 from the junction with Ashwell Lane to Edgarley Lodge.

Western Power Distribution require the lights so they can safely undertake tree trimming along that stretch of road.

Also on the A361 this week, there will be stop and go traffic control on Bere Lane on Wednesday January 22 and Thursday, for Wales and West Utilities work.

Temporary traffic lights in Chilkwell Street for Wessex Water to clean a foul sewer should be removed by the end of Monday January 20.

Other roadworks in Glastonbury this week include:

On Monday, Bristol Water will be repairing a leak in Palmers Road.

Also on Monday, a month-long permit begins for scaffolding at 73 Northload Street.

From Tuesday January 21 to Thursday, Bristol Water will be repairing leaks in Bushy Combe Gardens and The Archers Way.

Finally, on the same days, Bristol Water will be repairing a sluice valve in Wells Road.
