The Queen of Cups in Glastonbury is among the latest additions to the Michelin Guide.

Every month, the prestigious food guide reveals details of new restaurants to be featured in the guide, ahead of the yearly launch ceremony when the Michelin Stars, Bib Gourmands and Green Stars are unveiled.

The Queen of Cups on Northload Street won high praise from the inspectors who described it as "deliciously different."

The guide says, "Middle Eastern and Mediterranean small plates burst with colour and flavour: pomegranates, cous cous, slow-cooked meats and warm, salty Frena bread with house pickles will have you booking your next meal before you've even left. Take some friends and go for the 'Queen's Feast'."

The Queen of Cups is run by Ayesha Kalaji who has many years of working in top restaurants including the Michelin-starred Sosban and The Old Butchers restaurant in Anglesey, before taking over the 17th century inn in the town.
