Glastonbury in Bloom

Last year, following the re-opening of plant nurseries and garden centres, there was an unprecedented demand for garden plants of any description, be it shrubs or bedding plants.

Gardeners have enjoyed a re-birth with very many people taking their exercise by working in their gardens, redesigning them planting more shrubs or extra summer bedding to brighten up life during the Covid-19 pandemic. Now this your chance to make your entry into Glastonbury in Bloom.

With this in mind, the Glastonbury in Bloom Committee are hoping that there will be many more households and businesses entering their gardens or premises in this competition.

The town will be entering the South West in Bloom competition and as winners of the Gold Awards in 2018 and 2019, plus the cup and an award for the best business premises in 2019, there is renewed determination to achieve great things this year as the town will automatically be entered into the Champion of Champion class, something very much to be proud of.

The organisers are therefore hoping for a greater entry in the Glastonbury in Bloom competition so that everyone can be associated with the town's success.

Entry forms are available from the Glastonbury Information Centre (Town Council Office) or telephone 01458 831769, email [email protected]. Downloadable off the Glastonbury Town Council website.

Judging will take place between July 13 and 23 2021, Covid guidelines will be adhered too.
