Glastonbury get ready to walk the zombie walk - but no talking from the graveside

By Susie Watkins 21st Oct 2022

It is nearly time for the ghoulish and gory to rise from the grave to support a local children's charity.

Just one week left to get your Glastonbury gunk ready for one of the biggest events in the town.

The Town Crier will be there, crying among all the weeping statues and shuffling corpses.

Details for your diary : Saturday October 29, Glastonbury High Street from 3.00pm. Rags and face paints available at the King William, Marketplace. Live entertainment from 3pm before walk at 5pm. The event is free to take part in - donation pots in support of Children's World available for those that can afford it. #gzw22 www.childrensworldcharity.org

The Zombie Walk began back in 2012 to support the charity Martha Care, when that was closed, the event was passed Children's World in 2016

In 2021 the walk raised £545.25.
