Glastonbury Festival headliners announced
It's often the worst-kept secret on the music scene - the Glastonbury Festival headliners.
And this year, to no-one's surprise, since the media have been reporting it for weeks, it's been announced that Guns n' Roses will be one of the headliners on the Pyramid Stage at this year's festival.
They will be joined by Arctic Monkeys on the Friday, and Elton John on the Sunday.
A tweet from the festival sent at 9.32am said: "Here is the first Glastonbury Festival 2023 line-up poster, which includes our final two Pyramid Stage headliners: Arctic Monkeys (Friday) and Guns N Roses (Saturday). Many more acts and attractions still to be announced."
Other acts on the bill include Lizzo, Alt-J, Blondie, Hot Chip, Fatboy Slim, Lewis Capaldi and Texas.
As always, the reaction the announcements on social media were split.
"Weakest line up I've seen," one person tweeted, while another derided it as "S***."
But others said it was: "One of the best line ups I've seen in a while," and another called it an "Excellent first drop."
This year's festival takes place at Worthy Farm, Pilton between Wednesday, Jun 21 and Sunday, June 25.
