The events calendar is back in full swing in Glastonbury, with music, theatre, clubs, quiz nights and sport all taking place.

A number of these events in the Glastonbury area are being added to our recently revamped What's On section.

Our top event pick for this week is the Prize Draw to Win a Hot Air Balloon Trip for Two, which is being organised by the local PROMISEworks charity.

First prize is a hot air balloon trip for two people worth £300 courtesy of Bath Building Society, second prize is a Charles Dowding gardening course worth £150, and there are four third prizes of Gilbert & Swain chocolates worth £15.

PROMISEworks offers mentoring services to disadvantaged children across the area and its work is entirely funded by donations.

The draw is taking place on Wednesday September 22, and for more information, check out the Prize Draw What's On listing here.

You can list your events - e.g. shows, films, sports fixtures, quiz nights, local markets, steak nights at the local pub, jazz choir rehearsals, or anything else - on our What's On page FREE of charge, just click this link and then click the black Nub It button.
