Glastonbury Dragons May Fayre 2022

2nd May 2022 | Local News

They are not just dragons, they are the Glastonbury Dragons! Returning after three years, the red and white Glastonbury Dragons spent the day in Glastonbury Abbey Abbots Kitchen Field at the Glastonbury Dragons May Fayre on Sunday (May 1), and they brought two dragon's eggs with them.

One of the organisers said, "Thank you to everyone who came along and met the Glastonbury Dragons during the day in Glastonbury Abbey Abbots Kitchen Field. On a day where it was waterproofs and umbrellas rather than summer clothes, it was wonderful to see everyone who came to say hello.

"Thank you also to the entertainers who came along, and the wonderful and unusual craftspeople who brought their Dragon and May themed creations for all to see."

Anyone who met the dragons and took a photo is encouraged to post it on the Glastonbury Dragons Facebook page and use the hashtag #Glastonburydragons.
