Glastonbury Carnival organisers have issued an urgent call for volunteers to help keep this year's event safe and moving — with route marshals needed for Saturday, 15 November.

The town's biggest night of the year brings thousands to the streets and relies on volunteers to line the route, support spectators and manage safety.

Marshals must attend a briefing at Glastonbury Town Hall at 4pm on the day and complete a short online training session in advance. Volunteers will be treated to food in the afternoon and a hot meal once they've finished.

Anyone aged 18+ can take part, or 16+ if accompanied by an adult. To get involved, email Jess at [email protected].

Organisers say the carnival can't happen without the help of local people — and are urging the community to step forward and make it happen.
