Glastonbury businesses and attractions are among the 55 finalists for this year's Bristol Bath and Somerset Tourism Awards. 

The Queen of Cups has been shortlisted in two categories – New Tourism Business and Pub and Casual Dining Award, and The Middlewick is in line for Self Catering Accommodation of the Year, as well as Spa and Wellbeing Experience of the Year for its You Time package. Glastonbury Abbey has a good chance of scooping an award for the Tourism Event/Festival of the Year, with the Medieval Fair and the Summer Open Day both in the top three.

The finalists will all have to wait until 1December 1 for the Awards Ceremony at the Winter Gardens in Weston Super Mare, to discover whether they have won Gold, Silver or Bronze awards. A further four will receive Commended status.
