Glastonbury area roadworks for week commencing July 27

Temporary traffic lights are planned on the B3151 St Mary's Road through Meare this week.

The lights are scheduled to be used from Wednesday (July 29) to Friday (July 31) on the road near to Grenter and Son.

They are due to be used to enable Truespeed to undertake excavations to enable them to link their network to the BT one.

Other roadworks in the Glastonbury area this week include:

The right-turn lane closure in Moorland Road, Glastonbury, while a traffic light is repaired is scheduled to be in place until August 6.

On Monday (July 27) and Tuesday (July 28), Somerset Highways are scheduled to be replacing a streetlight in Wells Road.

From Tuesday to Thursday (July 30), BT are set to be working on their service in Wells Road, near Watts Corner.

Finally, BT is due to be replacing poles in Benedict Street and Tor View Avenue from Wednesday to Friday.
