Glastonbury and Street are hosting Remembrance events on November 8 and 9, 2025, with parades, concerts, and services.

Glastonbury and Street will host coordinated Remembrance events this year, giving Somerset residents a chance to take part in both towns' tributes across the weekend of Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 November 2025.

In Glastonbury, the commemorations begin with a free Glastonbury Brass Remembrance Concert on Saturday, 8 November at 2 pm at St John's Church.

On Remembrance Sunday, a parade will leave the Town Hall at 10:40 am and proceed to the war memorial outside St John's for an 11:00 am service. The event includes wreath-laying and a rendition of the Last Post.

Street's Remembrance Parade will begin at 2:30 pm on Sunday, 9 November from the Royal British Legion on Farm Road.

The parade will move through the High Street and stop at the United Reformed Church for a wreath-laying, then continue along Vestry Road to Merriman Park for a full service and second wreath-laying.

The separate timings allow residents, veterans, and families to attend both commemorations. Both towns are encouraging strong public turnout in tribute to all those who have served.
