Customers at Aldi in Glastonbury will soon be able to collect and return parcels more conveniently, as the supermarket expands its partnership with InPost to install parcel lockers outside more stores in Somerset.

The Moorlands Enterprise Park branch in Glastonbury is one of several locations, including Taunton and Highbridge, set to benefit from the rollout, which allows shoppers to pick up and drop off parcels without needing to queue or rely on store opening hours.

Aldi first trialled the lockers at 22 stores across the UK in December 2023. Following positive customer feedback, the scheme has since been expanded to over 260 Aldi stores nationwide.

Richard Thornton, Communications Director at Aldi UK, said: "By adding lockers at more locations nationwide, customers can now collect or return parcels seamlessly while picking up their shopping at Aldi."

Neil Kuschel, CEO at InPost UK, added: "Our partnership with Aldi to expand the number of lockers nationwide reflects our shared commitment to providing quick, easy and accessible parcel collection and returns for shoppers across the UK."

For Glastonbury shoppers, the new lockers at Aldi will be available soon, providing a hassle-free way to manage online orders while doing their weekly shop.
