The custom-built ice rink will feature real ice and will be completely under cover so willoffers plenty of fun for guests of all ages, whatever the weather, and tickets are now on sale.

This year will mark the first ever time that the Somerset shopping outlet has opened an ice rink to guests, offering a new magical experience over the festive period. The custom-built 550-metre2 undercover ice rink features real ice and offers plenty of fun for guests of all ages, whatever the weather, including disco sessions, 2-4-1 offers on Tuesdays and school bookings.

Featuring real ice and beautiful festive ceiling lighting, the custom-built ice rink will be set within the stunning grounds of the historic Alfred Gillett Trust, providing skaters with a magical atmosphere and photo opportunities galore.

Skaters and spectators can warm up after their session in one of Clarks Village's restaurants, or with a delicious treat from one of the grab-and-go dining available at Clarks Village.

Chris Davis, Centre Director of Clarks Village, commented: "We are incredibly excited to welcome guests to our first ever ice-skating rink this Christmas and we're sure it's going to be a big hit. We recommend booking tickets early to avoid the disappointment of missing out.

"The new rink will be a magical addition at the pinnacle of our Christmas celebrations, giving guests the ultimate Christmas shopping experience whether they're local or visiting from across the Southwest and beyond."

There will be quiet sessions, in addition to parent and toddler sessions for wobbly starters. Penguin and seal skating aids will be available for little ones, as well as bob skates to help guests stay steady.

The ice rink will be open from November 15 to January 2.

Sessions cost from £12.50 per adult and £10.50 per child (off peak). Family tickets are also available.
