This weekend, Street and Glastonbury are set to dazzle locals and visitors with an exciting array of events.

You can take your pick from activities ranging from mystical talks to lively football screenings.

The journey begins in Glastonbury with the Pagan Moot at Beckets Inn, 43 High Street, on Friday 12th January. Here, senior Wiccan Caroline delves into the enigmatic world of alchemy, starting at 7:30 pm. This event is an invitation to explore mystical traditions and welcomes all Pagan paths.

Continuing the festive spirit, the Wassail events at Somerset Rural Life Museum in Glastonbury (13th January, 7:30-10:00 pm) and Alfred Gillett Trust Wassail in Clarks Village, Street (14th January, 2-5 pm) offer a blend of seasonal drinks, storytelling, and performances.

The Assembly Rooms in Glastonbury are hosting a Fundraising Weekend from 12th to 13th January, promising varied events for community support.

For sports fans, The Market House in Glastonbury is the place to be, broadcasting multiple football matches throughout the weekend.

Theatregoers will enjoy "Angels in the Wings - SWCD Churches Panto" at Street Mission Church, Vestry Road, on 13th January, offering a delightful evening of entertainment.

Art enthusiasts can indulge in the Willow Sculpture Workshop at Abbey House, Chilkwell Street in Glastonbury at 09:30 on 14th January for a serene and creative start to the day.

The King Arthur is sporting a fab new look!

A special highlight of the weekend is at The King Arthur - who very kindly sponsor our What's On section, and have just had an amazing refurb - where esteemed singer/songwriter Ian Perry will be performing. With his strong jazz, funk, and soul influences, Ian's acoustic guitar and vocal performance are not to be missed. He will grace the stage on Sunday, 14th January, from 8 pm to 10 pm, providing a perfect end to a busy weekend.

Street and Glastonbury offer a weekend full of diverse and engaging activities, ensuring there's something for everyone. Remember to sign up for our newsletter to keep up with all local events and happenings.
