North Wootton, Shepton MallettFire appliances from Shepton Mallett and Wells were mobilised to a report of smoke and a fire alarm sounding at the above location.On arrival at the scene firefighters reported smoke issuing from the building.  Fire crews confirmed a fire in a tumble dryer in the downstairs laundry room and set to work using 2 breathing apparatus wearers, 1 hosereel jet, 1 thermal image camera and a positive pressure ventilation fan to ventilate the building.    Crews isolated the tumble dryer and monitored it until it was a safe temperature.
