Street Parish Council invites locals to fill two vacancies via co-option.

Think you could help shape the future of Street? The Parish Council has two vacancies up for grabs – and you don't need to be a career politician to throw your hat in the ring.

Street Parish Council is calling on locals with a passion for the town to step forward and apply. The roles are being filled by co-option, meaning there's no election – just a simple application and a chance to make your voice heard.

Whether you care about the environment, youth services, planning decisions or just want to speak up for your neighbours, this is a real opportunity to get involved.

To apply, you'll need to fill out a co-option questionnaire and send it to the Clerk by noon on Thursday 10 April 2025. The final decision will be made at the Parish Council meeting on Tuesday 15 April at Crispin Community Centre, starting at 7pm.

Interested?

Get in touch with Jenny, the Clerk, by emailing [email protected] or calling 01458 440588 for more information and to request the questionnaire.

So if you've ever thought "why don't they just…?" about something in town – now's your chance to be the one who does.
