An evening celebrating Palestinian culture is set to take place in Glastonbury later this month to raise funds for displaced people in Gaza.

The fundraising event will be held at the Red Brick Building on Friday 16 May, from 7pm to 10pm, and will feature a range of cultural activities including a photographic exhibition from Gaza, performances by a Palestinian choir, and traditional Dabke dancing.

There will also be talks and a Q&A session, as well as stalls showcasing Tatreez embroidery and goods from Zaytoun, alongside Palestinian snacks available for attendees.

Organised by Denizens Society Global, the event is supported by Mendip Friends of Palestine.

Tickets are available on the door or in advance via the Red Brick Building website or by calling 07585 308350. Entry is £8 full price and £5 for concessions.

Organisers say all proceeds will go towards supporting those displaced by the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
