The Glastonbury community is looking forward to an extraordinary Christmas event that's all about thrill-seeking for a cause. The Santa Abseil at Cheddar Gorge is back, and it's a perfect match for the town known for its spirited and adventurous vibe.

The Santa Abseil, organised by St Margaret's Hospice, promises an unforgettable Christmas experience that also contributes to a noble cause.

This unique event is scheduled for the 2nd of December and is perfect for those looking to add a dash of adrenaline to their holiday celebrations. Imagine abseiling down the iconic Cheddar Gorge dressed as Santa Claus – it's a scene set for making special memories.

Wells's own, Alice Simmons-Smith, recounts her experience from last year with fondness, proving that anyone can conquer their fears for a good cause. And with no previous abseiling experience required, the event is open to all brave souls in Wells willing to descend for a difference.
