Police have seized a quantity of drugs in Glastonbury following a court-issued warrant and a separate stop search on the High Street.

Street and Glastonbury Neighbourhood Officers carried out the warrant at a residential address on Wednesday (1 May), where drugs were found and removed from the property.

Later that afternoon, two people were stop searched in Glastonbury High Street, resulting in further drugs being seized.

Avon and Somerset Police confirmed both incidents and urged residents to report any concerns about drug use or dealing in their area.

A spokesperson said: "If you suspect someone is using, dealing or growing drugs in your neighbourhood, please report it to us via our website or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
