6th Sep 2022 | Local News

A volunteer driving service is being set up in Street to help vulnerable members of the community get where they need to go.

And volunteer drivers are needed to help get the service off the ground.

Volunteers will need to commit to a couple of hours a week, and have a driving licence and a car with a valid MOT and insurance.

A DBS check, safeguarding training and expenses will be provided, and all the driving will be within the Street area.

A coffee and cake volunteer sign-up morning is being held at the Crispin Community Centre on Monday, September 12, where more information will be available.

More information is also available by emailing [email protected] or by calling 01458 656248.
