A dog was rescued from a fire at a mobile home in Glastonbury this morning (March 27).

Fire Control received a call just after 10am to a vehicle on fire in Hulk Moor Drove. One fire engine from Street attended and on arrival confirmed this was a mobile home on fire so requested another fire engine from Glastonbury to attend.

On arrival the crews got to work with four breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, one safety jet, a thermal image camera and small tools to extinguish the fire.

Crews confirmed that all persons were accounted for and rescued one dog from the mobile home, which was left in the care of the owner.
