Clarks Village in Street is gearing up to celebrate Somerset Day by hosting a special three-day artisan market this weekend, featuring a variety of local traders and craftspeople.

Somerset Day, held annually in May, is a celebration of the county's rich heritage, culture, and local economy.

From Friday, May 10, to Sunday, May 12, visitors to Clarks Village can explore stalls throughout the premium outdoor shopping outlet, showcasing regional food, drink, arts, and handmade homeware and gifts.

The market will include local favourites such as Wells-made fudge by Go Fudge Yourself, hand-made fused glass art from Shelden Glass, craft gin from Somerset Distillery, and luxury dog lifestyle products from Smiley Myley.

Additionally, local talents like Jessica Mae Design and artist Emma Keys Portraits will be present on Saturday and Sunday, with Billies and Tong offering its renowned made-in-Wells biltong on Saturday only.

Chris Davis, Centre Director of Clarks Village said: "We're looking forward to hosting a special three-day artisan market for this year's Somerset Day. While Clarks Village is home to world-renowned designer brands and high street names, we're rooted in the local community here in Somerset and we are proud to showcase and champion our talented regional producers."
