Sales at Clarks Village rose 14.2% year-on-year from April to June, with a 3.8% footfall increase.

Sales at Clarks Village increased by 14.2% year-on-year between April and June, according to data released by owner Landsec. The outlet shopping centre in Street also saw a 3.8% rise in footfall over the same period.

The uplift comes during what Landsec described as a strong quarter across its wider retail portfolio, with notable growth in both sales and visitor numbers following a record year. Across the sector, clothing sales rose by 9.3% year-on-year, while health and beauty sales were up by 15.1%.

Centre Director Chris Davis said: "We're thrilled to see such a strong uplift in both sales and footfall at Clarks Village. These results speak volumes about the continued appetite for experience-led, in-person shopping, and reinforce the vital role physical retail plays in today's landscape."

Mr Davis said the site's combination of retail and leisure helped drive performance: "Clarks Village is more than a shopping outlet, it's a day-out destination… This offers something truly special to both consumers and brands and it's this unique mix that keeps us outperforming and evolving."

Recent additions to Clarks Village include fashion brands Scamp & Dude and Hackett, as well as Lanes Coffee, a Marshfield Farm ice cream pop-up, and several store refurbishments. These include updated units for HARIBO, Skechers, Le Creuset, The North Face and Sunglass Hut.

Visitors can also access a temporary mini-golf course, Art & Putt, which is open until 30 August.
