Firefighters removed the log burner from the fireplace for access to the chimney.The crew also worked from the roof accessing using a triple extension ladder and wearing safety at height harness and lines.
The fire was extinguished using chimney equipment and a low pressure hose reel. A thermal imaging camera was used to check for hot spots.
