A border collie with eyes that will melt your heart is on the hunt for her forever home.
If you've got plenty of energy, love a good hug and can play for days, you could be just who she's looking for.
Three-year-old Jax is a super-intelligent collie who is beginning to get anxious and stressed in the rescue centre as she waits for ber new family.
The team at Happy Landings in Pylle adore her but say they are making finding her a new home one of their top priorities.
"She really is the most lovely dog, so sweet and is capable of giving you a look that will melt your heart," said Sharon Edmonds, manager at the shelter.
"She's finding being in the kennels stressful, and she can come across as being quite reactive when people come to visit. But away from the kennels she can relax more - she's happiest when she's outside and playing with her ball.
"She is incredibly gentle and friendly with people, gives the best hugs and will play with you all day long..
"She did come with another dog so could live with another dog if slowly introduced. She needs a home with people who are familiar with the breed and their 'quirks' and is willing to invest the time to meet her needs. She's got lots of energy so a commitment to lots of walks and playing,"
If you're interested in adopting Jax, you can find her listing here. Happy Landings is looking for homes for all sorts of animals, including cats, rabbits and farm animals. You can find their website here.
