The BBC's debate show Question Time is being filmed in Wells this week - and there's still time to apply to be part of the audience.

Those who apply for a seat for the show will not know if they have been selected until the night before the show recording on Thursday, November 10th.

Those who want to join BBC Question Time host Fiona Bruce and the panel for political debate will have to get their thinking caps on - as part of the selection process, each hopeful is asked to submit two questions which may be asked during the show.

The location of where the programme will be recorded has not been revealed at this stage.

The BBC website states: "The Question Time Audience. We contact applicants on the Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday before the programme. Due to the high volume of requests received, we apologise that we cannot call everyone.

"Question Time audience members will be requested to come up with TWO questions to be considered for the programme. Please note that everyone applying to be part of the studio audience is required to complete this form. The information is entirely confidential and only used for balance.

"It's important that as many applicants as possible get the chance to be part of a Question Time audience. If you have been in a QT audience within the past ten years we are delighted that you want to do it all over again, but please give others a chance and don't apply this time round. If you have applied before but not been successful, we welcome your application.

"You can also apply by telephone. To do so, call 0330 123 9988."
