Bank holiday and Beltane brings a flurry of events to Street and Glastonbury

As the bank holiday weekend approaches, Street and Glastonbury are gearing up for a bustling array of events catering to all tastes and interests.

Glastonbury is set to be overrun by mythical creatures (more so than usual) at the Glastonbury Dragons May Fayre and Procession on Sunday, May 5th. Festivities kick off with a fayre at 10:00 am, followed by a spectacular dragon-themed parade at 2:00 pm. Full details and timings here.

Music lovers are in for a treat with the All Roads Festival 2024, a multi-day extravaganza hosted at The King Arthur in Glastonbury. From May 3rd to May 5th, a diverse lineup of artists will take to the stage, promising a weekend of unforgettable performances.

For those with a penchant for history and archaeology, the Megalithomania Conference 2024 explores ancient stones and megaliths. Taking place at the Glastonbury Council Town Hall on May 4th and 5th, this weekend conference is sure to fascinate enthusiasts and scholars alike.

And if you're on the hunt for bargains, don't miss the Pre-Loved Sale at Strode Theatre on Sunday, May 5th. Offering a chance to buy or sell pre-loved clothing and house decor, this event is a thrifter's paradise. Tables are available for £10 each. More details and to book a table
