Arrest made following racial abuse incident at Crown Hotel in Glastonbury

A serious disturbance at the Crown Hotel, Market Place, Glastonbury, led to the arrest of a 52-year-old man on the evening of May 12.

Police were called to the scene at approximately 9:05 PM after reports surfaced that a man was threatening and racially abusing individuals there.

Upon arrival, officers apprehended the individual, who is now facing charges of assault and racially-aggravated public order offences.

He is currently being held in police custody as investigations continue.

Authorities are seeking assistance from the public. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has relevant footage is urged to come forward to aid the police investigation.
