A Weekend of Fun and Creativity: Street and Glastonbury's Exciting Event Line-up

Looking for an entertaining and engaging weekend? Street and Glastonbury have got you covered with a variety of events for all ages and interests taking place from May 19th to May 21st.

On Saturday, May 20th, join the Spring Bingo Fundraiser for the Glastonbury and Street Sea Cadets. This family fun bingo night includes six games for £5 per person and offers prizes for 1 Line and Full House winners. Refreshments and a prize draw will also be available. For music lovers, catch Nasty Habits, the South West's number one rock, funk, and blues band, performing live at the King William in Glastonbury on May 20th at 9:00 pm.

Experience a FREE taster of a Stretch and Pilates class on the Tor on Sunday, May 21st, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Designed for all ages (16+) and abilities, the class will focus on muscle stretching, lower back tension relief, and core strength. Sign up here.

On the same day, celebrate the launch of the Glastonbury Independent Alliance Party at 6:00 pm at Beckets Inn, Glastonbury. The event promises vegan/vegetarian snacks, music, and great company.

Don't miss the Craft and Vintage Fair at Glastonbury Town Hall on May 20th from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm. With free entry, handcrafted items, and fantastic food, it's a perfect outing for the whole family.

Indulge your creative side at Tea & Creativity on May 21st from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. The free event will be held at the Heart of The Tribe Gallery garden and will feature clay creativity led by Donna Norton. Free tea, coffee, and refreshments will be provided.

The Avalon Marshes Open Day on May 21st invites you to celebrate the reopening of the newly refurbished Avalon Marshes Centre and Marshes Hub Tea Stop. The event includes crafts for kids, tractor rides, demonstrations, and a hog roast at the café. Learn more here.

Finally, visit Strode Theatre for two fantastic shows. Catch the 45th anniversary screening of Superman (PG) on Friday, May 19th at 7:30 pm. Tickets are priced at £8.80, £7, or check out Jen Brister's The Optimist show on Saturday.
