The Glastonbury Extravaganza takes place this weekend

As we move into the first weekend of August, Glastonbury promises a blend of soulful music, spiritual practices, intriguing workshops, and community gatherings.

Here's what's on tap for you this weekend:

The Glastonbury Extravaganza 2023 kickstarts the events on Saturday, August 5th. From 2 PM to 11 PM, - although it's sold out. Those with tickets can enjoy a headline performance from Texas with support from Lightning Seeds, plus special guest Wells City Band. The event will conclude with the traditional fireworks finale.

Glastonbury Abbey on Magdalene Street.

After the daytime extravaganza, head over to the sponsors of this newsletter, and probably the best live-music venue in Glastonbury, The King Arthur on Benedict Street. They're putting on a live performance by Igneous Fig. From 8 PM till late.

For those who love a good get-together, the 'Singles Night - Meet and Greet All Ages' is an enticing event. Join the social mix at The Red Brick Building Centre on Morland Road from 7 PM to 10 PM.

Spiritual seekers will already know that the Goddess Conference is taking place in Glastonbury this weekend, at various venues across the town. It takes place over six days, with many amazing Goddess inspired presenters from all over the World.

While over the bridge in Street, grab whatever pink clothing you can find - Barbie is showing at Strode Theatre.

Glastonbury ensures a packed weekend for everyone, from music enthusiasts and spiritual seekers to singles looking to mingle and families seeking community events. Make sure to check out these offerings and embrace the vibrant energy of Glastonbury this weekend.
