Emergency services were called to West Pennard on Saturday afternoon after a fire broke out in an agricultural building in the village.

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue were called out at 12.21 where a blaze took hold in a tin-walled building.

A team from Glastonbury and Street were sent to battle the fire and were at the site for one and a half hours.

The fire left 20 per cent of the building damaged by the flames, and 50 per cent by smoke.

A 64-year-old man was taken to hospital by ambulance, with crews leaving the scene just after 2pm.
