There will be temporary traffic lights for roadworks in Glastonbury High Street this coming week.

The lights will be in place from Tuesday November 12 to November 18, and will enable Bristol Water to fit a new connection.

Other roadworks in Glastonbury this week include:

There should be stop and go traffic control on the A361 Bere Lane on Wednesday and Thursday November 13 and 14 for Wales and West Utilities work.

Western Power Distribution is planning to trim some trees with stop and go traffic control in Old Wells Road on Monday November 11 and Tuesday, and then further down the road and in Wick Hollow on Wednesday and Thursday.

From Tuesday until Thursday, Bristol Water will be replacing a cover and frame in Benedict Street.

Also in Benedict Street, Western Power Distribution will be working on a new supply from Wednesday to November 21.

A permit has been issued for scaffolding to be put up from Monday for a month at 11 Chilkwell Street.

The temporary traffic lights on the A39 Glastonbury Relief Road for streetlight and footpath work are scheduled to be removed after Wednesday.

Finally, the permit for scaffolding at Dilliway and Dilliway in Glastonbury High Street runs out on Friday November 15.
