A well-established, historic and highly reputable law firm in the heart of Somerset is looking to appoint a Private Client Lawyer to its team in Street.

The Role

The successful candidate will have solid experience across Private Client and be comfortable managing a varied caseload with limited supervision.

You will advise a broad range of individual clients across areas including:

• Wills and estate planning
• Probate and estate administration
• Trusts
• Tax planning
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Estate planning and associated Private Client matters

You will take responsibility for your own caseload, ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and to a high standard, whilst providing a personable and professional service to clients.

The role will suit a Private Client Solicitor or Lawyer who is looking for a degree of autonomy, but who also values having an experienced and supportive team around them.

About You

The firm is looking for someone who:

• Has strong experience across a broad range of Private Client matters
• Can manage their own caseload with limited supervision
• Is confident dealing directly with clients and building long-term relationships
• Has strong technical knowledge across Wills, Probate, Trusts, Tax and LPAs
• Is organised and able to manage competing priorities effectively
• Takes pride in delivering a high level of client service
• Works collaboratively and is happy to support colleagues
• Is keen to continue developing their technical and professional career
