The role would involve consistent, attentive and personalised support in order to assist the pupil's education effectively, helping them learn in an environment where they can feel safe and confident. Full time is desired but not essential. Key responsibilities: - Provide 1:1 support tailored to the pupil's needs throughout the school day. - Develop a relationship of trust, giving the pupil the necessary confidence for their learning to prosper while in your presence. - Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to manage student behaviour effectively. - Ensure that the student feels listened to and understood. - Foster a secure, welcoming and supportive learning environment. What we're looking for: - Experience working with children with SEND. - A patient and empathetic approach to behaviour and learning support. - A dedication to providing consistent support for all children. - Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
