TeacherActive are proud to be working with a well-established specialist primary provision in Somerset that supports children with a range of complex needs, including Autism (ASC), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties, and communication challenges. We are recruiting for a dedicated and adaptable Teacher to join the team from September, with the potential for a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

This is a fantastic opportunity to teach in a supportive setting that prioritises pupil wellbeing, personalised learning and therapeutic approaches. The ideal candidate will have a nurturing teaching style, strong classroom management, and the ability to differentiate effectively to meet a wide range of needs.

The successful SEN Teacher will have:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent

• Experience working in an SEND or primary setting

• A positive, resilient and compassionate approach to teaching

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• A commitment to inclusive, child-centred learning
